Ahlan wasahlan Ya Rejab


اَللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِى رَجَبَ وَ شَعْبَانَ وَ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان

Allahuma Barik lana fi Rajaba wa Sha’bana wa ballighna Ramadhan
Ya Allah Berkatkanlah kami dalam bulan Rejab dan Syaaban, dan ketemukanlah (sampaikanlah) kami dengan bulan Ramadhan.

Ameen Ya Rabbal 'alameen..

Alhamdulillah syukur dipanjat kan ke hadrat Allah Ta'ala yang masih memberikan kita peluang untuk berada di bulan Rejab yang mulia. Ahlan wasahlan ya Rejab. Selain pahala amalan yang berlipat ganda dan doa2 yang dimakbulkan Allah Ta'ala di bulan yang mulia ini, antara kelebihannya adalah pada malam 27 Rejab berlaku suatu peristiwa mulia yang bersejarah bagi umat Islam. Ia adalah peristiwa Israk dan Mikraj dimana Rasulullah SAW diisrakkan (diperjalankan) daripada Masjidil Haram ke Masjidil Aqsa dan dimikrajkan (diangkat) ke Sidratul Muntaha. Firman Allah bermaksud:
"Maha suci Allah yang telah memperjalankan hamba-Nya pada suatu malam dari Masjidil-Haram ke Masjidil Aqsa yang telah Kami berkati sekelilingnya (dengan diturunkan nabi nabi di negeri itu dan kesuburan tanahnya), agar Kami perlihatkan kepadanya sebahagian dari tanda-tanda kebesaran Kami. Sesungguhnya Dia adalah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Mengetahui." (Surah al-Isra', ayat 1)
Peristiwa tersebut bukan sahaja menunjukkan kekuasaan Allah swt di atas sekelian makhluqNya dan benarnya kenabian Muhammad saw, bahkan ia sebenarnya sebagai suatu isyarat yang mengajak manusia berfikir tentang kejadian alam semesta dan menerokai segala ciptaan Allah Ta'ala yang maha hebat.


Diantara amalan-amalan yang sangat baik dianjurkan ketika berada dalam bulan Rejab:

- Banyakkan puasa sunat.jika mampu,

- Perbanyakkan Solat-solat sunat yang mengiringi solat fardhu (rawatib).

- Solat sunat Dhuha, sunat tasbih, sunat tahajjud, sunat hajat, sunat witir dan sebagainya, buat menampung amalan fardhu

- Banyakkan masa dengan membaca Al-Quran.

- Banyakkan berzikir dengan bertasbih bertahmid, bertakbir dan bertahlil beberapa ratus kali. Jika tak mampu lakukan beberapa kali termampu pada sebilangan waktu. Waktu terbaik ketika hampir subuh selepas subuh dan ketika hampir masuk waktu berbuka puasa.

- Berselawat keatas Nabi S.A.W. sebanyaknya

- Beristighfarlah mohon keampunan diatas dosa-dosa yang lalu. Paling utama bacalah Istighfar Rejab setiap hari (sila rujuk dalam kitab-kitab doa atau melalui tuan-tuan guru mengenainya)

- Berdoalah memohon sebanyak-banyaknya dalam solat, didalam sujud dan selepas solat beberapa lama tanpa berasa jemu meminta.

Dengan kehadiran bulan Rejab ini bermakna semakin hampirlah kita dengan Ramadhan yang mulia yang ditunggu-tunggu dan dinanti oleh segenap umat Islam. Semoga Allah Ta'ala memuliakan kita dengan menyampaikan kita pada bulan Ramadhan yang dirindui ini. Antara usaha yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan mengamalkan doa di atas sepanjang bulan Rejab ini. Persiapkanlah diri kita juga dengan sebaiknya sejak dari awal Rejab ini agar kita terpilih di kalangan hamba-Nya yang dilimpahi berkat dan rahmat Ramadhan terutama sekali pada malam Lailatul Qadr. Mudah-mudahan dengan kehadiran bulan Rejab ini juga menjadi permulaan baru untuk kita sama-sama memperbaiki ibadat dan amal agar semakin baik daripada sebelumnya. Semoga amalan-amalan yang dilakukan ikhlas semata-mata mengharap keredhaan dan rahmat-Nya. InsyaAllah.

Munajat CINTA


Sejatinya Cinta baik dibumi maupun dilangit adala kurnia Illahi semata, waspadalah terhadap cinta !
Cinta akan memakan hati seperti api memakan kayu.

Apakah aku akan menemukan cinta ? sedangkan ujian belum aku tempuh. Apa yang aku simpan untuk diriku akan lenyap, dan apa yang aku berikan kepada yang lain akan aku miliki selamanya.

Ya Allah…..
dimana lagikah dapat kutemui Cinta Sejati kecuali pada cinta-Mu, kemana lagikah hati ini harus berlabuh kecuali pada kasih-Mu, jadikanlah hati yang lemah ini hanya tertambat kukuh hanya pada-Mu.

Didalam seribu mimpiku yang bertabur sepi yang mengantar kepada-Mu, aku hanya ingin ampunan dan terangilah jalanku. Meski didunia ini tiada yang sempurna, aku hanya memohon dalam taubatku untuk diterangi jalanku. Ku persembahkan semuanya hanya kepada-Mu, dalam jalanku yang rapuh membuka mata hati mungkin aku telah lupa dalam lelah dan resah kuteteskan air mata kubersujud kepada-Mu.

Kuserahkan semua cintaku yang tak setia dan tak sempurna ini hanya kepada-Mu. Aku hanya mohon ridho atas segenap keputusan-Mu, kesejukan setelah matiku, kenikmatan untuk memandang cinta dan kerinduan terhadap cinta.

Ampunilah diri yang tak berharga ini ya Allah…..
penuhilah kehinaannya dengan keindahan magfirohmu, semua tangis dan tawa terlukis dalam hidupku, sebuah usaha akan aku lakukan untuk belajar mengarifi hidup dari jatuh bangunnya diri meraih segenggam cinta….
Yang memberi kekayaan bathin kepadaku, betapa penuh warna perjalanan hidup ini karena cinta yang ada pada diriku adalah fitrah-Mu.

Allah Mengasihi orang-orang berdosa


Islam tidak pernah mengajar kita umatnya untuk membenci mereka yang berdosa. Begitulah mulianya agama Islam dan membuktikan sifat Allah Yang Maha Pengasih dan Maha Penerima Taubat hamba-hambaNya. Rasulullah SAW pernah bersabda:

"Seandainya hamba-hamba Allah tidak berbuat dosa, niscaya Allah akan menciptakan makhluk yang berbuat dosa kemudian mereka istighfar (meminta ampun kepada Allah), lalu Allah mengampuni dosa mereka. Dan Dia adalah Maha Pengampun Lagi Maha Penyayang"


Setiap yang berdosa, Allah Ta'ala tidak akan membiarkan mereka terus berada di dalam kesesatan jika melakukan dosa dan kesalahan, tetapi menyelamatkan mereka dengan limpahan rahmat dan kasih sayang-Nya. Apakah bukti-bukti kasih sayang Allah Ta'ala itu?

Setiap masa Allah telah menunjukkan kepada setiap hambaNya dua jalan, yakni jalan kebaikan dan kejahatan. Setiap jalan menunjukkan 2 akibat berbeza yang perlu kita pilih dengan menggunakan akal yang telah dianugerahkan Allah Ta'ala. Akal yang hanya ada pada manusia membezakan kita antara makhluk ciptaannya yang lain seperti haiwan,tumbuhan, mahupun jin dan syaitan. Dengan akal yang waras dan sihat,pasti manusia dapat memikirkan setiap jalan kejahatan atau kemaksiatan yang dipilih akan membuahkan akibat yang negatif, begitu juga sebaliknya.

Di samping itu, Allah juga mengutus seorang Rasul sebagai pembawa petunjuk dan risalah bagi umatnya. Banyak yang telah diajari oleh Rasulullah kepada umat Islam sebagai panduan untuk memperoleh kebahagian dalam hidup, bukan sahaja di dunia malah di akhirat sana.

Sekalipun demikian, masih saja manusia tergelincir dalam lembah kemaksiatan dan melumuri dirinya dengan kejahatan dan dosa. Sebagai bentuk kasih sayang kepada hamba-Nya, Allah membuka pintu taubat dan berjanji kepada orang yang bertaubat akan mengganti kejahatan mereka dengan kebaikan di dunia, serta tempat kembali terbaik kelak di akhirat.
Firman Allah swt: “ Katakanlah, wahai hamba-hambaKu yang berlebih-lebihan terhadap dirinya (dengan memperbuat dosa), janganlah kamu berputus asa dari rahmat Allah swt. Sesungguhnya Allah mengampuni dosa semuanya. Sesungguhnya Dialah yang Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang. Kembalilah (bertaubatlah) kamu kepada tuhanmu, dan patuhlah kamu kepadaNya sebelum tiba siksaan kepadamu, kemudian kamu tidak mendapat pertolongan” (Az-Zumar: 53,54)


Semoga Allah Ta'ala menerima taubat kita dan menerima kita menjadi sebahagian hambaNya yang beroleh khusnul khotimah. Amin Ya Rabbal 'alameen.

Why Science Fails To Explain GOD?


At an educational institution,

‘Let me explain the problem science has with God’
The atheist professor of philosophy pauses before his class and then asks one of his new students to stand. ‘You are a Muslim, aren’t you son?’
‘Yes sir.’
‘So you believe in God?’
‘Absolutely’
‘Is God good?’
‘Sure! God’s good’
‘Is God all-powerful? Can God do anything?’
‘Yes’
The professor grins knowingly and considers for a moment.
‘Here’s one for you, lets say there is a sick person over here and you can cure him. You can do it, would you help them? Would you try?’
‘Yes sir, I would’
‘So you’re good…!’
‘I wouldn’t say that.’
‘Why not say that? You would help a sick and maimed person if you could…. in fact most of us would if we could..God doesn’t.’
[No answer]
‘He doesn’t, does he? My brother was a Muslim who died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him. How is God good? Hmmmm? Can you answer that one?’
[No answer]
The elderly man is sympathetic.
‘No you can’t, can you?’ He takes a sip of water from a glass on his desk to give the student time to relax. In philosophy, you have to go easy with the new ones.
‘Lets start again fella, is God good?’
‘Err…Yes’
‘is Satan good?’
‘No’
‘Where does Satan come from?’
The student falters. ‘From…God’
‘That’s right, God made Satan didn’t he?’ The elderly man runs his bony fingers through his thinning hair and turns to the smirking student audience.
‘I think we’re going to have fun this semester ladies and gentlemen’ He turns back to the Muslim.
‘Tell me son, is there evil in this world?’
‘Yes sir.’
‘Evil is everywhere, isn’t it? Did God make everything?’
‘Yes’
‘Who created evil’
[No answer]
‘Is there sickness in this world? Immortality? Hatred? Ugliness? All the terrible things, do they exist in this world?’
The student squirms on his feet. ‘Yes’
‘Who created them?’
‘No answer’
The professor suddenly shouts at his student.
‘WHO CREATED THEM? TELL ME, PLEASE!’
The professor closes in for the kill and climbs into the Muslims face. In a still small voice he says ‘God created all evil, didn’t he son?’
[No answer]
The student tries to hold the steady experienced gaze and fails. Suddenly the lecturer breaks away to pace the front of the classroom like an aging panther. The class is mesmerised.
‘Tell me’ he continues, ‘How is it that this God is good if he created all evil throughout all time?’
The professor swishes his arms around to encompass the wickedness of the world.
‘All the hatred, the brutality, all the pain, all the torture, all the death and ugliness and all the suffering. Created by this good God is all over the world isn’t it young man?’
[No answer]
‘Don’t you see it everywhere? Huh?' Pause. ‘Don’t you?’ The professor leans into the student’s face again and whispers ‘Is God good?’
[No answer]
‘Do you believe in God son?’
The students voice betrays him and cracks.
‘Yes professor, I do’
The old man shakes his head sadly. ‘Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen God?’
‘No sir’
‘Then tell us if you have ever heard your God’
‘No sir, I have not’
‘Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God or smelt your God? In fact, do you have any sensory perception of your God whatsoever?
[No answer]
‘Answer me please’
‘No sir, I’m afraid I haven’t’
‘You’re AFRAID you haven’t?’
‘No sir’
‘Yet you still believe in him?’
‘…Yes…’
‘That takes faith!’ the professor smiles sagely at the underling. ‘According to the rules of empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn’t exist. What do you say to that son?’
[No answer]
‘Sit down please.'
The Muslims sits defeated.......

(kali ini seorang pelajar Muslim lain bangun dan cuba menjelaskan kepada Profesor atheis itu)

Another Muslim raises his hand' Professor, may I address the class?'

The professor turns and smiles
‘Ah, another Muslim in the vanguard! Come, come young man. Speak some proper wisdom to the gathering’

The Muslim looks around the room
‘Some interesting points you are making sir. Now I’ve got a question for you. Is there such a thing as heat?’

‘Yes’ The professor replies. ‘There is heat’
‘Is there such a thing as cold?’
‘Yes son there’s cold too’
‘No sir, there is not’
The professors grin freezes. The room suddenly goes very cold. The second Muslim continues.

‘You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super heat, mega heat, white heat or no heat but we don’t have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we cant go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold, otherwise we would be able to go colder than 458 - - You see sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat sir, just the absence of it’

Silence, a pin drops somewhere in the classroom.

‘Is there such a thing as darkness, professor?
‘That’s a dumb question son, what is night if it isint darkness? What are you getting at?’
‘So you are saying there is such a thing as darkness?’
‘Yes’

‘You’re wrong again sir, darkness is not something, it is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light but if you have no light constantly you have nothing and its called darkness, isint it? That’s the meaning we use to define the word. In reality darkness isint. If it were, you would be able to make darkness darker and give me a jar of it. Can you give me a jar of darker darkness professor?’

Despite himself, the professor smiles at the young effrontery before him. This will indeed be a good semester.
‘Would you mind telling me what your point is young man?’

‘Yes professor. My point is that your philosophical premise is flawed to start with and so your conclusion must be in error…..’

The professor goes toxic. ‘Flawed ? ? how dare you…!’
‘Sir may I explain what I mean?’

The class is all ears.
‘Explain, oh explain!’ The professor makes an admirable effort to regain control. Suddenly he is affability itself, he continues to wave his hand to silence the class for the student to continue.

‘You are working on the premise of duality’ The Muslim explains ‘that for example there is life and there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God a something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science cannot even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism but has never seen or much less fully understood them. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life, merely the absence of it.’

The young man holds up a newspaper he takes from the desk of a neighbour who has been reading it.

‘Here is one of our most disgusting tabloids this country hosts professor. Is there such a thing as immortality?’
‘Ofcourse there is, now look…’

‘Wrong again sir. You see immortality is merely the absence of mortality. Is there such a thing as injustice? No, injustice is the absence of justice. Is there such a thing as evil? The Muslim pauses. ‘isint evil merely the absence of good?’
The professors face has turned an alarming colour. He is so angry he is temporarily speechless.

The Muslim continues. ‘If there is evil in the world professor, and we all agree there is, then God if he exists must be accomplishing work through the agency of evil. What is that work God accomplishing? Islam tells us to see if each one of us will choose good or evil’

The professor bridles. ‘As a philosophical scientist, I don’t view this matter as having anything to do with any choice, as a realist I absolutely do not recognise the concept of God or any other theological factor as being part of the world because God is not observable’

'I would have thought that the absence of God's moral code in this world is probably one of the most observable phenomena going'

The Muslim replies. 'Newspapers make billions of dollars reporting it every week! Tell me, professor. Do you teach your students that they evolved from monkey?'


'If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, young man, yes of course I do.'

'Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?'
The professor makes a sucking sound with his teeth and gives his student a silent, stony stare

'Professor. Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is as an ongoing endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you now not a scientist, but a priest?'

'I will overlook your impudence in the light of our philosophical discussion. Now, have you quite finished?’ The professor hisses.
'So you don’t accept God's moral code to do what is righteous?'
'I believe in what is -that’s science!'

'Ahh! SCIENCE!' the students face splits into a grin.
'Sir, you rightly state that science is the study of observed phenomena. Science too is a premise which is flawed...'

'SCIENCE IS FLAWED..?' the professor splutters. The class is in uproar. The Muslim remains standing until the commotion has subsided.
'To continue the point you were making earlier to the other student, may I give you an example of what I mean?'
The professor wisely keeps silent.

The Muslim looks around the room.
'Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen air, oxygen, molecules, atoms, the professor brain?'

The class breaks out in laughter. The Muslim points towards his elderly, crumbling tutor.

'Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain...felt the professor's brain, touched or smelt the professors brain?'

No one appears to have done so. The Muslim shakes his head sadly.

'It appears that no one here has had any sensory perception of the professors brain whatsoever. Well, according to the rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol science, I DECLARE that the professor has no brain'

The professors face turned an alarming white and his legs seemed to give way as he slumped back in his seat...for he was beaten at his own game...the class is in awe at what just unfolded before their very eyes.

~Perbualan ini berlaku diantara seorang Profesor yang berfahaman Atheis dan pelajar Muslim. Atheis disini merujuk kepada golongan yang berfahaman bahawa Tuhan itu tidak wujud dan segala apa yang terjadi di dunia ini adalah secara semulajadi dan mempunyai penjelasan yang logikal yang boleh difahami manusia. Ini bertentangan dengan ajaran Islam yang dibawa Rasulullah SAW yang mengajarkan manusia Allah Ta'ala adalah Tuhan Yang Esa yang menjadikan segala sesuatu yang berlaku di dunia ini. Terdapat kajian yang telah membuktikan tidak semua perkara yang berlaku di dunia ini dapat dijelaskan oleh akal fikiran manusia yang sangat terbatas termasuklah hal-hal berkaitan dengan kejadian manusia sendiri yang masih banyak menjadi misteri. Begitulah buktinya kewujudan Allah SWT melalui ciptaannya yang menakjubkan, seperti dalam firmannya:
"Kami akan memperlihatkan kepada mereka tanda-tanda (kekuasaan) Kami di segala wilayah bumi dan pada diri mereka sendiri, hingga jelas bagi mereka bahwa Al-Quran itu adalah benar. Tiadakah cukup bahwa sesungguhnya Tuhanmu menjadi saksi atas segala sesuatu?" [QS. Al- Fushshilat]
